Sep 29,  · Although, I do consider “Nil Recurring” to be a part of or companion piece for “Fear of a Blank Planet.” So with that all in mind, let’s look at how I rank Porcupine Tree’s studio albums! On the Sunday of Life It’s not like I HATE any Porcupine Tree album.
  2. Porcupine Tree's ninth Studio album, and for me personally, their second best after Deadwing. Every track is fantastic, there's no filler on here, but my personal favourites are the opening title track Fear Of A Blank Planet and track three Anesthetize/5().
  3. Dec 04,  · referencing Fear Of A Blank Planet, CD, Album + DVD-V, Album, Ltd, NTSC, mul, RR Such a beautiful release - I wish more CDs had such gorgeous presentation applied to them. My only real gripe is that the inner sleeves are so very tight when trying to /5(K).
  4. Open Car those three songs having only appeared on various special editions of Deadwing. Not the definitive Porcupine Tree live experience, but a pretty decent one nonetheless. Published. XonE Nov 29 Fear of a Blank Planet. Track listing.

Porcupine Tree makes a triumphant return to experimental, non-linear style with 's Fear of a Blank ilempeavicotsubomusscholmsinrappboss.xyzinfo Steve Wilson was afraid that the comparatively poppy Deadwing and In Absentia were edging too close to the mainstream, because he seems far less concerned with overtly accessible songwriting on Blank ilempeavicotsubomusscholmsinrappboss.xyzinfo still, the cerebral, atmospheric sound on this album remains.
