  5. May 19,  · 5. Sex. One of the more frivolous songs on the album, lyrically speaking, Sex begins with an eerie synth evocative of a bad '80s horror movie. It's somewhat fitting, given the genre's obsession with sex and death, and provides a brilliant intro to the Rob Zombie-esque grooves that follow.. Whether or not they took their cues from the Z-man remains to be seen, but the southern rock riffage is.

Hypocrisy in no way sold out, and Peter did not "lose interest" like one guy suggested. Yes, this album is different than any other Hypocrisy album - it's a whole lot more Metal. Not nu-metal, PURE metal. This album has some of the sickest riffs I have heard on a metal album in a long time/5(28).
  8. This album is more commercialized, that is for sure. As heavy and fast as this album is, the heavy use of cleaner vocals almost change the genre of this album in particular, to a more softened black/death metal feel. Still an incredible album, but definitely not Emperor's best. 8/10, worth picking up for sure/5(72).
  9. Bossa Nova Baby: The Ultimate Elvis Presley Party songs This international group of progressive musicians are deeply influenced by the mystical and epic nature of Progressive Rock, the furious rhythm sections and fiery solos of Jazz-Rock Fusion, along with the power and raw energy of Progressive Metal.
